Once in awhile a band comes along that touches you like youve never been touched before. When you hear their music it brings out emotions that youve not had in a very long time. Morality Check is one of those bands.
Hearing the lyrics to songs such as In Hell to their cover of Bon Jovis Dead or Alive you feel everything from anger to an I dont give a damn feeling. The deeply melodic ballad Heavens Burning will move even the toughest of hearts. And singer Cory James deliverance of each song is breathtaking.
Morality Check brings you into their world. A world that is sometimes dark and disturbing. Just being around the band you feel their energy. The comradery is incredible. It takes a lot to get a band to work together, but these guys are solid and are a family.
Ive enjoy being invited into their world. To Cory, George, Ron, Neil, JC and Randy, keep it up. You are on the right path and your perseverance will pay off. Thanks for allowing me to join you on your crazy journey. You guys are my brothers for life.

Coming to a stage near you, Morality Check will rock you.
With The Thunder like rhythm section of drummer Gomez, and bassist Bum, to the duel guitar attack of JC, and Wesley Pipes, to the textured keyboards (and sometimes guitar playing) provided by Ron George. Then there are the vocals, provided by the voice of Corey James. Cory is one of the most original vocalist this area has seen in a while. His haunting vocals will stick to your soul long after the live set is done.
With a new album due in a Couple of month's, and one of the most lively live shows in the area. Morality Check is a force to be reckoned with.

Metal ethics: What you see is what you get. That's the idea behind Cleveland-based hard rock/metal act Morality Check. "We don't try to be somebody that we're not," said keyboardist Ron George. "We don't all wear red leather pants. We just try to be ourselves, go up there and have a good time and feed off the crowd. We have a good energy vibe. We have a good solid fan base that's very loyal to us." The sextet is hard at work on its sophomore album, which George paints as more polished and focused than the band's 2005 self-titled debut. New songs already in the mix include the radio-friendly "Boundaries" and the "Dimebag" Darryl Abbott tribute "Irreplaceable." The CD is due out in the summer, but in the meantime, the band is already looking ahead. Not only is the group planning a Dream Theater-meets-King Diamond concept album for its third studio effort, but a live CD/DVD will be recorded at 7 p.m., Saturday at The Hi-Fi Club, 11729 Detroit Ave., Lakewood
